CCE Hand Foot and Mouth Disease Notification

We have had several cases of hand, foot and mouth disease at CCE. We have reached out to the LA County Department of Public Health for guidance. They are currently investigating our school due to this outbreak. Their role is to help offer guidance regarding transmission precautions and other measures to help the staff and students get through this emergent situation. The district office is also aware of the situation and is providing support. I will keep you updated on the situation. LADPH will be on site tomorrow. Our custodial team has sanitized all the classrooms and will continue disinfecting the classrooms until further notice.
